Natalia and Mom.
In these early days, I thought these might be the few photos
we would have of our little angel. |
|
Trying to adjust, we would say "This is a face only a mother could love."
Notice the blue string. They made a retainer for her
feedings so she could use a bottle. Once home, I found we
didn't need it. She drinks beautifully on her own. |

|
Natalia, we were
trying to find a good angle for a photo. We were still
adjusting to her look.
|
|
I
covered the bassinet with as much prayer power I could find.
Some of the nurses were worried about me. They wanted
me to be realistic. I was, and she is still here. Praise
God!

The kids the
night before her Cleft lip repair...They were all
laughing and having fun.

Our beautiful
little Natalia, so imperfect on the outside, yet
perfect on the inside. |
|
Aunt
Marque feeding her the bottle. We found if we vented
(used her g-tube) while feeding. It would allow the
fluids to rise in the syringe and helped with with her
reflux and spitting up.

Here is Natalia right
after her cleft lip repair. She was already
breathing through her nose. Notice the red patchy
areas. Her surgeon gave her a bit of a facial. |
