Poem for Melina  

Bella Melina, you are our little turtle.
With a spirit like yours, we'll overcome every hurdle.
 
You have taught us so much, in such a short time,
More than a lifetime of experience could ever provide.
 
Your mother and I are filled with much love and pride.
We will adore and cherish you as years go by.
 
Your gurgles and coos still play in our minds
To remind us of the joy you brought to our lives.
 
But your little heart was broken, and now so is ours,
As you leave this mortal world, and head for the stars.
 
So look down on us Angel, and watch over our lives.
Mom and Dad will join you all in good time.
